In some cases, the work at home job is a "telework opportunity", meaning that once you've been in the job for awhile, the company has a telecommuting program of which you can be a part, provided your performance and reliability supports it.
Legitimate Work at Home Job or a Home Business? - Let's face it, a home business isn't for everyone, but there are plenty of you who would like to find legitimate work at home jobs - at least if you could find legitimate work from home- maybe to be with the kids, maybe because you're at your best when you work from home. For whatever reason, finding legitimate work at home jobs isn't an easy task, and I know that many of you have been looking for the perfect telecommuting job opportunity for quite some time. I also know that the number of legitimate work at home jobs pales in comparison to the scams that seem to about everywhere
The Latest Legitimate Work from Home Jobs - Here's my hand-picked list of the 10 work at home jobs I found on the Web this week along with 10 legitimate work from home job opportunities found last week, some offering salary and benefits and all appearing to be perfectly legitimate opportunities to work from home. As far as I can determine, these are all legitimate work at home jobs and I do my best to weed out potential work at home scams before posting these jobs. Still, you should be alert when investigating any opportunity to make sure it is, indeed, legitimate work from home. In some cases, you'll have the flexibility to live anywhere, while in others, candidates are required (or preferred) to live in a certain area because training will take place there, occasional office attendance is a requirement or the customers you'll be serving are in that area. When that's the case, I'll indicate what the local requirements are for that work at home job listing.
Full and Part-Time Work at Home Jobs - Some of the legitimate work at home jobs that I select are full-time with salary and benefits. Other opportunities for legitimate work from home may be part-time or on a contract basis with no benefits. I know that some of you who are trying to find legitimate work from home may only be available part time, or you may be willing to try something new on a part-time basis. And, there's always the possibility that you can get hire for a legitimate work at home job on a part time or contract basis originally and get hired fill time with a benefits package once you've proven yourself and your ability to work from home.
Steering Clear of Work from Home Job Scams - In the vast majority of cases, legitimate work at home jobs shouldn't require that you pay anything for the privilege to run from home. There are a few legitimate exceptions where you may need to be a membership fee to belong to an independent network of work at home professionals or you may have to pay small amount for training or equipment. However, these should be the exception and not the rule when you are searching for legitimate work you can do from home.
Legitimate Work from Home Job Agencies - You may find that some of the legitimate work at home jobs in my hand-picked list require you to register with a work from home job site. You may also have to pay a small membership fee with the work at home job site to have access to their listings and apply for a job. That's usually because I couldn't find the same listing somewhere else and the work at home job looked promising. When I find a work at home job that makes the list from one of these services it's because I felt that service was also legitimate. If you have any experiences to the contrary with these sites, you need to let me know.
